FirstEdit does not keep your documents. Once a check with FirstEdit is complete, your original document is deleted from all servers immediately.
The text that FirstEdit provides for you is removed from our servers immediately if you are working in plain text (whether that’s through the browser or through the API).
Where a new document is created for you by FirstEdit, then we keep that for up to 24 hours so you can download it. Then it is removed completely.
There's no situation in which your documents are kept for more than 24 hours. That's true for all document types and all users.
